Junior Condition Monitoring Engineer job vacancy

LOCATION: 

United Kingdom with International Travel

COMMUTE:

Must live within 1 hour of our office (Rossendale, BB4)

SALARY:   

Negotiable depending on experience.

Full Time Office/Field Based - Occasional weekend work, international travel and some overnight stays

SPM Instrument UK is a subsidiary of SPM AB and a global leading OEM for condition monitoring products. 

JOB ROLE:

Once training has been completed, as a junior condition monitoring engineer, you will be responsible for visiting our office/customer sites and completing the following:

  • Portable vibration data collection.
  • Installation of both fixed & wireless monitoring systems.
  • Calibration of hardware.

  • Have a full, clean UK driving license.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Computer literate inc. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A recognised mechanical qualification. (Essential)
  • Understanding of electromechanical machinery. (Essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • VA Cat 1 (Desirable)
  • Condition monitoring experience (Desirable)

 

This role requires extensive UK wide travel including overnight stays. Occasional weekend work will be required.  International travel will also be expected, once training has been completed.
